Southland Economic Transformation (“SET”) Fund Now Open

The Southland Economic Transformation (“SET”) Fund, generously supported by the MacArthur Foundation and managed by the South Suburban Economic Growth Initiative, is now accepting letters of interest from community members and other stakeholders for products, tools and programs that collectively have the most potential for transformative economic change in the Southland.

The SET Fund will provide modest grants for predevelopment, project planning and, in some cases, early implementation efforts for organizations across the Southland.

The deadline to submit LOIs no more than three (3) pages in length will close on March 9, 2020. The proposed project must serve SSEGI’s mission of inclusive economic growth in the Southland, and the applicant must be a 501(c)(3) organization or eligible for fiscal sponsorship by a 501(c)(3).
